Cream pictorial hardcover has light soil, paper at head of spine chipped 1/2", touch of shelf wear at very tips. 96 pages are crisp and clean, no tears, soil or names. Not exlib. With a cynical eye for character and robust, salty humor, Surtees draws detailed pictures of the clothing, fun, furniture and social habits of middle-class England, the very folks he based the characters in his entertaining books on.
