Western Training Theory & Practice

By: Brainard, Jack with Peter Phinny, Edited by Pat Close

Price: $8.00

Quantity: 1 available

Book Condition: Very Good

Possible first edition, no other printings listed besides 1989. Moderate wear/rubbing to tips of cover, besides a former owner's note about Jack Brainard pinning someone in a show, the pages are crisp and unmarked. 135 pp text. After reading the first chapter, I agree with Jack's halter breaking technique whole-heartedly. Recommended, common-sense guide to training as well as a companion reference to specialized training books on such events as cutting, reining, roping, pleasure - whatever you plan to do with a horse.
