Well read exlibrary book with heavy wear on boards, previously reinforced at spine and tips with heavy library tape, spine re-glued in the past so text is tight, reinforded hinges, etc. Tape marks on boards and endpps, pocket pulled but all pgs present, spine cracked w/page block separated at head at last page and rep, nothing loose. Not pretty but all there. 152 pp. What *is* adorable about this book is that some child hand drew an illustration for the front panel of the handmade yellow paper dust wrapper. The teacher typed the title, properly on the backstrip, small triangle chip out of foot of frt flap. No text on flaps or rear panel, but displays ok in new mylar. This title is number seven in the mystery series about the adventures of a group of upper-middle-class children in Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, who interact with the mountain people and Cherokee culture. It is certain that young mystery fans will enjoy the impossible situations that these children solve so conveniently.
