Blue cloth covered boards with bright gilt title on spine. All tips and spine ends lightly bumped, no rubbing or boards showing. The 230 pg text is tight and bright without soil, tears, names or turned corners. Stated "Uniform Edition" which is the second printing of 1939. First edition was 1933. A wonderful copy in an unclipped color reproduction pictorial dj showing large chip at head of frt panel and loss at tips and along rear spine edge. Displays OK on the shelf with spine title still legible. DJ now in new mylar sleeve. This is the autobiography of a racehorse who eventually became a hunter, and it is packed with thrills from start to finish. The author has accomplished a very difficult task triumphantly. There are very few riders who, after reading this book with intelligence, will not find themselves on better terms with their horses.
