In Sporting Honeymoons, we enjoy the chronicles of a young married Irish couple, first tenting, and after word settling down in a country where sport is the one element that fuses all classes and creeds together. Thomson tells in mirthful fashion (described as mirroring the work of Somerville and Ross), of adventures and misadventures. There is a good-natured laugh on every page. The quality of heart permeates all these rollicking pages, in which Orange and Green are so skillfully blended.
