There is another team beside them, also pulling a loaded wagon. The Great Bullocky Race was run to get bales of wool to the seaport in South Australia in time to catch the ship bound for London. A firm there would buy the fifty bales that arrived first. 55 pp text is crisp and unmarked. Glossy, price-clipped dj has the same art as the book, plus a Hans Christian Anderson seal on the frt panel of the dj. More than suitable for gift giving. Square format volume measures approx 8.25" square.
