Rare set limited to 400 copies. Not numbered or signed but clearly a gift quality set including the taupe paper covered slipcase with black cloth spine w/bright gilt titles. There is one paper crack at the foot of slipcase spine, light rubs at open edge tips. Both books are in super shape with sharp tips and barely brushed head of spine. Black paper covered boards with titles on frt board, no titles on backstrips. Internally as new, no names, tears or soil. One volume loaded with speed frame photos showing the strides as they unfold, the approach, the take-off, the landing and the departure. The other vol 83 pp of text with line drawings. Littauer summarizes his lifetime of research into the mechanics of jumping, with much reference to other authorities.
