Black hardcover boards w/gilt titles shows faint white mark at head of frt cover. Unclipped DJ shows surface wear, sunned spine and chips to spind ends, now in a glassine wrapper. Original $3.75 price on dj flap crossed out by publisher and new price stating Seagull Edition now $1.89 next to it (as printed, not hand written). No other dates given besides 1952. 332 pp text age toned at extrems but not brittle. Author explores the *standard equipment* we must have in order to realize the full maturing of our personalites. He goes on to take us into the midst of typical and often perplexing situations of our time (circa 1950's), and shows us how we can act wiely and maturely.
