Bound in blue denim, with lightly faded spine, top edge of page block a tad dusty, lacking the slipcase. Yellow paste-on spine label slightly wriinkled and faintly age-toned at periphery, quite legible and 99% complete w/slightly uneaven lower edge, else in fine condition (see scan). More than presentable and suitable for the most particular collector's shelf. Tom Sawyer and his best friend, Huck Finn, confront the endless possibilities of childhood in the fictional town of St. Petersburg, a Mississippi river town in the antebellum South. Days are spent in such diverse activities as whitewashing fences, swearing oaths in blood, and getting lost in dark caves.
