He thought Athens was the hub of the universe, the center of civilization. People outside Athens must be barbarians, he thought. Many things helped Philip change his mind. Through his friendship with a Sicilian boy, he learned a great deal about Sicily and the Sicilians, their strange gods and traditions. And from his own reactions in the face of danger, he learned a lot about himself. Books are cleaned and mylar changed on dj's whenever possible. We gift wrap every book at no charge. Offered from a five star, full-time professional bookseller and proud members of the Virginia Antiquarian Booksellers Association. Your satisfaction is our No.1 priority.
