Sturdy reinforced library binding (but not ex library copy). Pink /orange/green illust cloth covered boards with black lettering. A Gibralter Library binding edition. Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. Boards clean, text tight and bright. When Cookie, the wonderful kangaroo, first came to live with Evie Dell and her family, the dogs and cats of the neighborhood couldn't make up their minds how to act toward her. They weren't exactly afraid of her, for she was gentle and mannerly. But she was so different from them that they didn't think they wanted to play with her. It was a funny idea--.
