Stated Third American Edition. Rubbed corners and spine ends on blindstamped blue/grey cloth boards. Elaborate gilt embellishment & title on tiny little backstrip with frayed cloth at both ends. Name and some note-taking on front and rear blank endpapers in a very pretty, decorative hand. 131 pg text tight but foxed throughout with some now-unfolded dog-eared tips. All edges of page block dulled gilt. Scarce little religious book on self-discipline.
