NY The Derrydale Press 1939 First Limited Edition Cloth Very Good + No Jacket Illustrated
Corners bumped and lightly rubbed, spine ends a bit more so. Gilt vignette of hunter and dog on cover, somewhat dulled gilt on backstrip. 2" split in leather only (barely noticable) in front gutter. Tiny watermark on foot of page block. Innards fine. Unumbered limited edition, sporting stories, game bird and deer hunting in the sporting south, includes a chapter on Archibald Rutledge and various recipes for game meats & sauces in rear. Illustrated with photographs. Still a lovely copy, much sought.
