England Wm. Dresser & Sons 1904 Third Edition Gilt Lettering on Cloth Boards Good + No Jacket
Third Edition. Tan cloth cover with red spine, red lettering and red illustration of running fox to front. Head of spine shows insect damage and loss, Boards bumped and rubbed. Discoloration and few black spots on backstrip. Spine gilt faded but legible. 223 pgs + index. Tight bright pages with light foxing on endpapers and on outer edges of some inner leaves. Tiny ink name on fep. With 9 b/w plates. A fascinating look at fox-hunting in Sedgefield and its environs during the 1870's and 1880's, written by the author of the 'Foxhunters' "Vade Mecum"'.
