Illust endpapers, text is tight and bright with BOOK SALE stamped on foot of first pg of text, obscuring nothing. Rear board has other titles by Random House and colorful illustrations present. London John Murray 1960 Revised Edition Hardcover Very Good Very Good Book Mays, D.L. 
Revised hardcover in very good jacket. Not exlib. Blue boards with red illustration of Wandy are ever so lightly bumped at spine ends. Innards fine. Price clipped photo-reproduced dj in new mylar displays beautifully. Wandy, a Devon moor pony fended for himself until his capture by two children and an Irish groom. During his training many exciting and comic things happened, riding to hounds, the great Pony Show and yet, in spite of a growing pride in his accomplishments, and though he could not help but feel affection for his young master and mistress, he watched for a chance to regain his freedom. Just before a great snowstorm he escaped, but the ending was a great surprise.
