Dark blue hardcover has light color loss at head & foot of spine and tips have been bumped. Professionally reproduced dj shows well. Previous owner name is stamped on 1/2 title page. 213 pages have a musty smelly, are soiled but otherwise is a wonderfully copy with 6 colored plates. When we first meet Jock the Scot he is mourning the loss of his mistress; through many adventures we see how this valiant pup seeks his own fortune.

Royal blue hardcover with paste on artwork is lightly frayed at head & foot of spine otherwise shows beautifully. Professionally reproduced dj shows well. Previous owner name is written within otherwise the 204 pages are tight & bright with rough cut edges and 7 beautiful colored plates. NY Milton, Balch & Company 1930 First Edition Hard Cover Very Good + Near Fine 
Frederick Blakeslee dustjacket art in purple, fleshtone, white and black showing woman in hat and dress walking in a field w/a b/w fox terrier on her leash as a debonair dressed chap looks on nearby. A 312 pg romance novel about a woman (Uma Swithin) who falls in love with a sculptor (Tony Corcoran) who helps her discover herself. Near fine in VG+ unclipped dustjacket in new mylar with shallow chipping to spine ends, small bit of loss to center of backstrip, mild wear to spine edges and light shelf wear. No names, tears or soil (save for foxed edge of page block), with Woodward & Lothrop vintage bookstore sticker and orig price on rear pastedown. Great display book for the Fox Terrier fan.
